Abstract

The rapid development of the digital world, particularly in the field of information and communication technology, has had an impact on education. Digital transformation requires students to be able to think critically, understand technology, and know how to collaborate with others. Students' readiness today depends largely on how well they utilize technology to learn, adapt, and develop 21st-century skills. If their learning outcomes are good, their chances of success in the digital era also increase. In this study, the author used a literature study method by searching for and reviewing national and international references on learning outcomes, digital competencies, and the skills needed today. The data was analyzed using content analysis techniques, starting with selecting appropriate sources, grouping findings based on learning outcome domains, and then connecting theories with existing research findings. After review, there are five main aspects of learning outcomes that determine students' readiness to face the digital era: cognitive aspects (digital literacy and critical thinking skills), affective (adaptive attitudes and digital ethics), psychomotor (ability to use technology), metacognitive (self-management in digital learning), and the learning outcome aspect that determines student readiness. These five aspects are equally important for both students' academic and social development. So, to truly prepare students for the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0, the curriculum must allocate more attention to digital competencies and project-based learning. Students need to be prepared to compete and contribute in the digital world.
